I gave a presentation about my Tree Wise book at local middle school for 450 6th graders. It was a memorial day and a significant success! The PTA made beautiful decoration flowers, lunch, and a cake for me. It was awesome! My son, Dylan's 8th-grade class, came to watch my presentation as a special surprise to me. I enjoyed the surprise and, of course, I teared up from happiness. After all, Dylan was my initial motivation for me write the Tree Wise.
Then I was invited to the 27th annual Author's Day at the Central Library celebration. I met many established well-known Authors and Illustrators. I admired the whole day yesterday especially for the Tree Wise's based on the true story.
